Weekly Art Challenge: Calm
This was painted for Weekly Art Challenge #183.
This is my first attempt at an ink and wash. I don’t think mixed media paper is the right medium for it. I probably need real watercolor paper. It was definitely calming to paint, though.
Nearly every morning, the cat wakes me up for food. On the weekend, I read on the endchair. Once he's done eating, the cat usually jumps up on the back of the chair and falls asleep behind my head.
