Pirates of the Caribbean - On Stranger Tides (2011)

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides was fun. The critics hated this movie (33% on Rotten Tomatoes), but then again critics don't know what they're talking about. It is much more like the first movie. You don't have to see movies 2 or 3 to understand it at all.

The only returning main characters are Captain Jack Sparrow, Barbossa, and Gibbs. Sparrow, Barbossa, Blackbeard, and the Spanish are racing each other to the Fountain of Youth. The movie was well done. The story is interesting, the characters are fleshed out, and there are no characters or comedy forced in to "make it like the first one," such as in Dead Man's Chest or At World's End.

All in all, if you liked Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl (the first movie), then you'll like On Stranger Tides. It's definitely worth watching.
